Via of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation providing services for people with disabilities and their families. Our service area is the greater Lehigh Valley, including Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Bucks and Pike counties.

Via Events, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that operates Via Thrift Stores and several special events activities. The mission of Via Events is to raise funds to advance the services provided by Via of the Lehigh Valley.

Via Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. The mission of the Via Foundation is to provide resources to grow and sustain services provided by Via of the Lehigh Valley.

Via of the Lehigh Valley, Inc., Via Events, Inc., and Via Foundation, Inc. are each registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Charitable Organizations. IRS 990 information and annual audits are available for Via of the Lehigh Valley, Inc., Via Events, Inc. and Via Foundation, Inc. and will be provided upon request.

How to get involved



To comply with Governor Wolf’s mandate that non-essential businesses be closed and with guidance from the PA Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), that funds many of our programs, Small Group Employment, many Community Employment Services, Creative Expressions Adult Training Facility and Prevocational Workshop are closed for participants until the mandate is lifted. 

However, ODP has determined that home and community-based services are considered life-sustaining and are exempt from the Governor’s directive asking for the closure of all non-essential businesses.  Therefore, Via will provide limited Community Participation supports, In-Home services and Behavioral Support services.  As we learn more from ODP, coordinators will reach out to participants about services that are available.  We are reaching out to Via staff now to determine who can provide these services.
