Tiffany Bedics Gallis
Tiffany Bedics Gallis, a Bethlehem Catholic High School graduate, still holds the title today as the all-time leading high scorer in the city of Bethlehem, both men’s and women’s, with a career total of 1,807 points under Coach Dick Schmidt.
She also holds the title of all-time leading at Bethlehem Catholic and the school record for most points in a season with 612, averaging 21.1 per game. Tiffany was named to Street and Smith’s High School all American team and was the all-state basketball player in 1993, 1994 and 1995.
A true team player, Tiffany was awarded the Referee’s Choice Award Most Valuable Player in 1995, her senior year. Recognized by the local media, Tiffany was the Express Times and Morning Call Basketball Player of the Year for the 1994-1995 season. She was also made both papers’ first all-area team, as well as the East Penn Conference first team.
Tiffany was selected to High School Girls Basketball Roundball Classic as one of the top players in Pennsylvania and lead Bethlehem Catholic to four straight district championships, two East Penn Conference titles and state championship runners-up in 1993. Tiffany was a four year varsity starter and letter winner.
Not a one-sport athlete, Tiffany was a four year letter winner in volleyball and named to the all-state Pennsylvania volleyball team. Her volleyball skills earned her a spot on the Morning Call and Express Times first all-area team and a spot on the East Penn Conference first team, two years running. Tiffany and the Bethlehem Catholic girls’ volleyball team were two-time district champions and made the trip to Shippensburg where they were runner-ups for the state championship.
Tiffany attended Lafayette College on a basketball scholarship and was named Rookie of the Year. As a four year starter, she scored 1,467 points as a Lafayette Leopard. Tiffany is married and living in Bethlehem, PA. She works in management at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Inc New York, NY.
