Lehigh Valley Basketball Hall of Fame Announces Inductees and Via All-Star Basketball Tickets Go On Sale
February 27, 2007

BETHLEHEM, PA – The Lehigh Valley Basketball Hall of Fame has announced the 2007 Inductees to be honored on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Via All-Star Basketball Classic Banquet. The Hall of Fame was established in 1978 and honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to high school basketball in the Lehigh Valley. The 2007 Inductees are:

John Daday
High School Sportscaster

Nicole Levandusky
Palmerton Area High School 1993-97

Brad Pensyl
Bangor High School 1975-78

Betsy Wilson
District XI and PIAA Official

The Via All-Star Basketball Classic is an elite sports event featuring the finest basketball talent in the greater Lehigh Valley. The Via-All Star Basketball Classic raises funds to support Via of the Lehigh Valley’s Employment Programs and showcases the basketball talents of our area student athletes.

Tickets to the Via All-Star Basketball Classic on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 10:30 am go on sale today for $5. Call 484-893-5389 for tickets.

All proceeds benefit Via of the Lehigh Valley, a non-profit human service agency, that provides services for children and adults with disabilities. Via teachers and therapists work with children in their homes to address disabilities and delays through early intervention services and train daycares so they can include children with disabilities in their programs. Via finds jobs in the community for people with disabilities and provides work assessments and job training. Via assists families with in-home nursing & home care services, and helps people with disabilities volunteer in the community, participate in leisure activities, and find or purchase affordable, accessible housing.
