Fundraising Tools
Walk Day & Check-In
Walk check-in is simple! Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a check-in envelope in the mail, please bring it with you on walk day and report to the “Check-In” table. Donations, along with a donation form for each, can be placed inside. Seal the envelope and bring it with you. Volunteers will collect your envelope and give you a t-shirt. Walkers who pre-registered for the walk will receive a t-shirt.
The first 500 walkers who pre-registered for the walk will receive a t-shirt. You can save time on walk day by sending in your donations ahead of time.
If you register within 2 weeks of the walk, we may not have time to send you an envelope. If you have donations, please place them, along with a donation form for each, inside of any envelope and staple your email confirmation to the envelope.
If you did not pre-register, please check-in at the “Register Today” table. Volunteers will ask you to complete a registration envelope. Any donations you collected may be placed in this envelope. Seal the envelope and hand it in to the volunteer. The volunteer will take the envelope, ask your shirt size and hand you a t-shirt.

Have Fun and Walk for Great Cause
Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. The 5K Walk route is wheelchair accessible, stroller friendly and leased dogs are welcome.
Top Fundraisers
The top 5K Walk fundraisers will receive a 18 by 24 custom framed and matted poster and additional prizes. Fundraising closes September 30, 2010 and the top fundraiser will be notified and announced through email. Your company, friends and family can support Via and you by making contributions in your name on the Friends & Family page.
Any individual raising over $500 or team raising over $1,500 will receive a 8.25 wide by 9.75 custom framed and matted poster. These high-quality, custom framed commemorative pieces honors your fundraising in this year’s event. Pewter and glass framing with a light blue matte bring out the vibrant colors of this year’s poster and create a special keepsake to celebrate your individual or team accomplishments. You may have this piece customized at no cost. Your company, friends and family can support Via and you by making contributions in your name on the Friends & Family page.
Win a Limo for Race Day
The team or individual who raises the most money by midnight (as recorded in your Fundraising Headquarters) on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 will win free limo transportation on race day. Winners will be notified on Wednesday, September 8, 2010.
