Jeff DaileyJeff Dailey | Inducted: 2008
Notre Dame Green Pond High School | 2000-2004

Jeff Dailey graduated from Notre Dame High School in Easton, PA in 2004 as the school’s all time scoring leader in Boys’ Basketball with 1742 points.  He was a member of the varsity basketball team for four seasons and led his teams to 76 wins throughout his career including a District XI AA title in 2003.  He served as the varsity team captain for his junior and senior seasons. 

Jeff was unanimously selected as the Colonial League MVP in 2004 while also being selected to the 1st team All Colonial league in 2003 and 2004.  He was selected to the 1st Team Express Times All Area team in his junior and senior seasons and also The Morning Call’s 1st Team All Area in 2004.  Jeff also participated in the Via All Star game in 2004 and was the champion of Via’s 3 point shooting contest.

Jeff DaileyIn Jeff’s senior season at Notre Dame, he led his team to the AA State semifinal and a final record of 25-8.  He was named the PIAA AA 2nd team All State and finished the season with a Lehigh Valley record of 126 3 point field goals in only 250 attempts.  Over his high school career, Jeff made an astounding 338 3 point field goals and also shot 89% from the foul line. In December of 2004, Notre Dame High School retired Jeff’s jersey #20 in honor of his outstanding accomplishments throughout his Notre Dame Career. 

After graduating from Notre Dame, Jeff continued his basketball career at Cabrini College in Radnor, PA.  In Jeff’s freshman year, he was selected as the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) Rookie of the Year.  In his sophomore year, he averaged 12.2 points per game on the way to earning ALL-PAC honors and led the Conference in 3 pointers made with 69.   In his two years at Cabrini, Jeff scored 501 points and made 120 3 point field goals.  His brief but standout career at Cabrini College ended following his sophomore season as Jeff transferred to East Stroudsburg University.

Jeff DaileyOn November 8, 2007, Jeff lost his life in a fire at East Stroudsburg University.  Jeff will always be remembered as a great basketball player but he will also be remembered as a great teammate, friend, brother and son.  Every day, Jeff is missed by everyone who loved him.  He touched many lives and there has been an outpouring of love and support from the communities at Notre Dame, Cabrini College and East Stroudsburg University as well as so many others from our local communities.  Jeff’s parents, Bob and Jane Dailey, and his brothers, Christopher and TJ, would like to personally thank everyone for all their prayers and support.
