Lehigh Valley High School Basketball Hall of Fame

The Lehigh Valley High School Basketball Hall of Fame was established in 1978 and honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to high school basketball in the Lehigh Valley.  Hall of Fame induction ceremonies are held during the Via All-Star Basketball Classic banquet. The 2011 Inductees are:

• Richard Baksa  |  Notre Dame Green Pond HS player, class of 1963  |  Allentown Central Catholic, Freedom & Notre Dame Green Pond HS Coach   |  1976 FHS District XI Champs, 1992-95 CHS District XI Champs
  
  

• Charles Marcon  |  Liberty HS player, class of 1961  |  1961 District XI Champs, league MVP & 2nd Team All-State

The Hall of Fame is currently taking nominations for the 2012 Induction Year.

The Lehigh Valley High School Basketball Hall of Fame is in the process of creating a virtual Hall to celebrate its members.  The community is invited to share biographical information and photographs to include in the Hall of Fame.  They can be sent to Via@ViaNet.org or mailed to Via All-Star Classic, Attn: Hall of Fame, 336 W.
