Community Employment Job Developer
Assess, develop, and support integrated employment opportunities that maximize an individuals earning potential. Create and coordinate job development activities that result in appropriate job matches with employers for all Community Employment consumers. Assist in identifying and training to create community employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Bachelor’s degree preferred, 2yrs experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community or employment setting. Driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance required.
Community Employment Job Coach
Conduct vocational assessments that explain how someone will attain and maintain work in the community. Identify and provide employment supports, training and coaching to create community employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community or employment setting. Driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance required.
Community Based Supports Specialist
Identify and provide support, training and advocacy to create instructional community based opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Access and integrate individuals with disabilities into their communities through the utilization of natural supports and teamwork concepts. Associates degree preferred. At least 1 year experience working with people with disabilities. Valid PA driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance required.
Community Based Supports Floater
Create and implement new volunteer programs, and recreational activities for our Community Based Supports program. Establish contacts with various businesses throughout the Lehigh Valley. Fill in coverage with shifts as need arises. Must have excellent communication skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred as well as 1 year experience working in a related field. Valid PA driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance required.
Early Intervention Teacher
Provide specific interventions and strategies to increase the developmental skills of children who have been identified with developmental delays. Provide modeling, training and support to the parents/caregivers of identified children to ensure a family focused approach. Evaluate the needs of children, assist families in identifying priorities, develop plans of intervention, and provide all documentation in compliance with Via, state, and local regulations. Minimum of Bachelors degree in Special Ed or Early Childhood Ed (Masters preferred) Two years experience in special education/early childhood education required. Personal vehicle, valid PA driver’s license and insurance required.
Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapists
Work as part of an Early Intervention team to provide therapeutic intervention, parent training and consultation to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with developmental delays. Working in the community, in homes, as well as childcare settings, the therapist will assess the developmental levels of the child in the areas identified as delayed. The therapist will work as part of a team to develop a plan to address the identified needs and the priorities of the family. The therapist will carry out the plan and maintain all necessary documentation and submit within the designated timeframes. The therapist will actively participate as a team member, providing and receiving support and information from co-workers. Must have valid PA driver’s license along with appropriate insurance and personal vehicle.
Keyholder, Via Thrift Stores
Responsible for maintaining customer service as per company standards, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations, and loss prevention in adherence to store policy. Responsibilities include all register, credit card, security system and store opening and closing procedures necessary to open, close and operate store in a professional manner. Responsibilities also include overseeing all functions necessary to operate a store in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Manager. High School diploma, previous sales experience required. Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle and appropriate insurance required.
Truck Driver, Via Thrift Stores
Responsible for picking up all donations and the delivery of merchandise sold, including but not limited to furniture and designated appliances. Drivers are also responsible for the picking up and distributing of trash, rags, discarded merchandise, and sellable merchandise between stores or designated drop off locations. The drivers must load and unload all of the trucks, as well as bail and prepare merchandise for bulk sales. Must have valid PA driver’s license, vehicle and appropriate insurance.
Sales Associate, Via Thrift Stores
Responsible for maintaining customer service as per our company standard, generating sales, housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, cash register operations. Sales associates are also responsible for loss prevention in adherence to store policy. Previous sales experience required as well as effective communication skills.
Stock Associate, Via Thrift Stores
Responsible for receiving, sorting, hanging, tagging and all other aspects of preparing donations for sales floor or to be discarded. Also responsible for replenishing and replacing merchandise on the sales floor. Previous sales or warehouse experience preferred. Ability to work in various settings.
