Children’s Services

Early Intervention Speech, Physical & Occupational Therapists
Are you an enthusiastic and committed individual looking to make a difference in the lives of families in the Lehigh Valley?  Via's Early Intervention Program, serving children from birth to three years old throughout Northampton and Lehigh Counties, is looking for speech, physical and occupational therapists.  Via is seeking therapists who are invested in incorporating therapy into the family's daily routines and willing to work within the collaborative consultation model in family homes and daycare settings.  Contract positions are available immediately offering:

  • $2,500 sign-on bonus.
  • Compensation rates are $55 - $65 per contact hour.
  • $100 gas cards based on contact hours.
  • Make your own schedule!!!
  • Compensation for bi-weekly staff meetings at the contract rate.
  • Compensation for attending the mandated Early Intervention trainings.
  • No administrative responsibilities!  Via handles all billing, case assignment and referrals, and processing of paperwork.
  • Free annual tax training by a CPA.
  • Via provides in house training opportunities, including on-going DIR training.

For therapists averaging 10 contact hours per week, additional compensation includes:

  • $500 annual reimbursement for continuing education.
  • Reimbursement of professional liability insurance.
  • Reimbursement of computer tax software.

Requirements: Valid state licensure, SLP’S—Masters Degree and Certificate of Clinical Competency. Minimum of one year experience in pediatrics is required.  This is a community-based program, travel is required.  Valid drivers license, vehicle and insurance required.  Email cover letter and resume to M.Nimtien@ViaNet.org


Community Employment Services

Job Coach
Conduct vocational assessments that explain how someone will attain and maintain work in the community.  Identify and provide employment supports, training and coaching to create community employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.  Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community or employment setting.  Driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance required.


Community Connections

Community Connections Coach
Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in any setting. Must be able to work cooperatively with co-workers to help facilitate the attainment of social and vocational goals. Implement activities relative to individual’s goals within the community. Provide all phases of personal care and ensure safety in assigned program areas. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Good computer skills. Minimum 1-year experience working in related field within community settings. Driver’s license, personal vehicle and insurance required.


Transitional Employment Services

Transitional Employment Instructor
Provide employment training and supports to individuals with disabilities in both facility and community based employment settings.  Help people attain income in the least restrictive environment possible, working in an integrated community setting which maximizes an individual’s independence and earning capacity.  Work in both facility and community settings.  Standing, sitting, lifting, and walking required daily. Traveling in the community is required.  Must be flexible and able to adapt to a variety of facility and community work environments.  The instructor position is a substitute position on an as needed basis $10/hr.
